**On Approval of the Methodology for Verification of State Aid to Internally Displaced Persons and Persons Residing in Territories Where Hostilities Are (Were) Conducted, or Who Have Moved to These Territories from Territories Temporarily Occupied by the Russian Federation, for Loans Secured by a Mortgage**

    Good day!

This order of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine approves the Methodology for Verification of state aid to internally displaced persons (IDPs) and persons residing in territories where hostilities were or are being conducted, or who have moved from temporarily occupied territories, for loans secured by a mortgage. The purpose of the methodology is to establish a unified approach to verifying information about recipients of this assistance, in order to ensure its targeted use and detect possible abuses.

Structurally, the order consists of a short introductory part and the Methodology itself. The Methodology defines how the verification is carried out, what data are used, and what stages this process includes. It describes the mechanism for comparing information about recipients received from the Pension Fund of Ukraine and other state bodies to verify the accuracy of personal data and the legitimacy of the assistance assignment.

The most important provisions of the Methodology are a clear verification algorithm, which includes data validation, verification of their reliability and verification of the legality of payments. Also important is the list of information databases used for verification, in particular, data from the State Register of Individuals – Taxpayers, the Unified State Demographic Register, the State Register of Civil Status Acts of Citizens, the Unified Information Database on IDPs and the State Register of Real Property Rights. This makes it possible to comprehensively assess the person’s compliance with the criteria for receiving state aid.
