Notice of the National Bank of Ukraine on Accounting Prices for Bank Metals
The National Bank of Ukraine has set accounting prices for bank metals (gold, silver, platinum, and palladium) for August 15, 2025. These prices are intended for internal calculations of the NBU and are not binding for the purchase and sale of metals. The price table contains codes, the number of troy ounces, and the value in hryvnias.

The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official exchange rate of the hryvnia against foreign currencies and SDRs for August 15, 2025. These rates are used for reflection in accounting, NBU transactions with the State Treasury Service, and other cases provided by law. The NBU is not obliged to buy or sell currency at these rates.

The duties of the Head of the State Agency of Ukraine for the Development of Land Reclamation, Fisheries and Food Programs are temporarily assigned to the First Deputy Head, Taras Petrovych Kot. This appointment is effective from August 19, 2025, until the appointment of a new Head.

Leonid Yevhenovych Muzykus has been appointed to the position of First Deputy Head of the State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine with a probationary period of two months. The appointment is valid for no more than 12 months after the termination or cancellation of martial law.

Amendments have been made to the procedure for payment of rewards and one-time financial assistance to servicemen of the FIS of Ukraine, the list of territories for being in which payments are provided has been expanded, including the territory of the aggressor state. Procedural issues have been clarified and the procedure for reviewing documents for the payment of one-time financial assistance has been detailed.

It defines the process of planning and conducting scientific research in educational institutions and scientific institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as coordinates the implementation of the results of these studies into practice.

Amendments have been made to the procedure for paying additional remuneration to police officers during martial law. It has been clarified who is entitled to payments, how the time of task performance is calculated, and the categories of police officers who are not paid. In particular, cadets are excluded from the list of those who receive additional remuneration.
