This Regulation defines the legal status, tasks, and organizational principles of the departmental fire protection (DFP) of the State Specialized Enterprise “Pivnichna Pushcha”. The document establishes a mechanism for protecting human life and state property from fires in the Exclusion Zone and the Zone of Unconditional (Mandatory) Resettlement. It regulates the powers of units regarding fire extinguishing, conducting rescue operations, and exercising fire safety control at the enterprise’s facilities.

The Regulation consists of 15 clauses covering issues of the establishment, subordination, tasks, rights, and financial support of the DFP. The document was significantly updated by Ministry of Energy Order No. 258 dated 20.05.2026, which clarified the procedure for forming units, their engagement in fire extinguishing, requirements for employee insurance, and the procedure for determining staff strength.

2. **Subordination and Control:** Operational management is carried out by the management of the SSE “Pivnichna Pushcha,” while methodological guidance and supervision are vested in the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
3. **Social Guarantees:** Mandatory insurance of life and health for personnel of fire and rescue units (excluding budgetary institutions) is established.
4. **Qualification Requirements:** Only persons with relevant higher specialized technical education may be appointed to leadership and supervisory positions within the DFP system.
5. **Prohibition of Misuse:** It is strictly forbidden to involve DFP personnel in the performance of tasks outside the scope of their direct duties as defined by this Regulation.
