On declaring the Order of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine dated October 10, 2005, No. 683, as having lost its effect

This Order of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine No. 257 dated May 13, 2026, is a regulatory act that repeals an obsolete normative document. It officially declares null and void the Ministry of Finance Order No. 683 dated October 10, 2005, which previously regulated the terms of remuneration for employees of the State Gemological Center of Ukraine. The decision was made in pursuance of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 459 dated April 8, 2026, concerning the streamlining of remuneration in the specified sphere.

    **Structure and Main Provisions:**
The Order has a concise structure and consists of four clauses. The first clause directly repeals Order No. 683, along with all amendments made to it over the years it was in effect. The second clause assigns organizational responsibilities regarding the registration and publication of the document to the Financial and Economic Department. The third clause specifies the effective date — the day of official publication, and the fourth clause assigns control over the execution of the Order to the State Secretary.

    **Important Aspects:**
A key point for law enforcement is that from the moment this Order takes effect, the previous terms of remuneration for employees of the State Gemological Center lose their legal force. Henceforth, remuneration in this institution is regulated exclusively by the new Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 459 dated April 8, 2026. This means that when calculating wages and developing internal regulations on remuneration, it is necessary to be guided exclusively by the provisions of the aforementioned Government Resolution, and not by the repealed 2005 Order.
