This is a message from the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine informing about the termination of two international treaties between Ukraine and the Republic of Belarus, namely, the protocols on interaction regarding the control of customs value of goods and on the exchange of information on goods and vehicles moving across the customs border of both countries.
The structure of the message includes a table with a list of international treaties, their registration codes, information on publication in the “Official Gazette of Ukraine” and information on the termination of validity. Both protocols, concluded on August 27, 2004, will cease to be valid on June 30, 2026.
The most important provision is the fact of termination of the mentioned protocols, which means the termination of information exchange and interaction between the customs services of Ukraine and Belarus in matters of control of customs value and movement of goods and vehicles. This may affect customs control and trade between the countries.
