    **On Amending the Procedure for Using Funds Provided in the State Budget for the Provision of Certain Medical Services to Certain Categories of Persons Who Defend/Defended the Independence, Sovereignty, and Territorial Integrity of Ukraine**

    This act amends the procedure for using budget funds allocated for the provision of medical services to certain categories of persons who defend Ukraine. It expands the list of persons entitled to receive such services, and clarifies the list of documents required to receive them.

    Act structure: The act consists of amendments to the Procedure for the Use of Funds, approved by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 156 of February 11, 2025. The changes concern paragraphs 8, 9, 11 and 16 of the Procedure. The main changes include the expansion of the list of persons entitled to receive medical services, the inclusion of foreign military personnel and persons deprived of personal liberty as a result of aggression against Ukraine, as well as clarification of the list of documents required to receive services, including the possibility of using an extract from the Unified Register of Persons Deprived of Liberty.

    The most important provisions of the act:
    * Expanding the range of persons entitled to receive medical services at the expense of budget funds, in particular, the inclusion of foreign military personnel and persons deprived of personal liberty as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine.
    * Clarification of the list of documents required to receive medical services, and the possibility of using an extract from the Unified Register of Persons Deprived of Liberty, in the absence of original documents.
    * Entering information about medical services provided to foreign military personnel and persons deprived of liberty directly into the report, without entering medical records into the electronic healthcare system.
