Order of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on Notarial Activities
The Order of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine amends regulatory legal acts governing notarial activities, in particular, regarding the procedure for establishing guardianship over the property of individuals recognized as missing or disappeared under special circumstances. Notaries are required to check for information about a person in the Unified Register of Persons Missing under Special Circumstances, and also to enter information about the issuance and cancellation of a certificate of appointment of a guardian to this register.
Decision of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission
The decision of the NSSMC amends the criteria for determining enterprises important for capital markets, establishing a requirement for the absence in the ownership structure of participants and/or ultimate beneficial owners associated with Russia or Belarus, with the exception of business associations in the authorized capital of which more than 90 percent of shares belong to the state or the NBU.
Order of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on Amendments to the Standards of Quality of Free Legal Aid
The order amends the quality standards for the provision of free secondary legal aid, replacing the term “legal aid” with “pravnycha dopomoga” (legal assistance). New standards have also been added regarding the protection of the rights of minors in criminal proceedings, in particular, ensuring the participation of a legal representative and a psychologist during interrogation, explaining the rights and opportunities of the minor.

The order amends the quality standards for the provision of free secondary legal aid in criminal proceedings, bringing the terminology in line with the laws “On Free Legal Aid” and “On Media.” Defenders must promote compliance with reasonable time limits for the consideration of cases of minors, ensure the participation of a legal representative and a psychologist during interrogation, and explain the rights and opportunities of the minor.
Order of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on Programs of Differentiated Educational Influence on Convicts
The order amends the provisions on programs of differentiated educational influence on convicts, aligning them with current legislation. The programs now also apply to convicts whose punishment involves restriction of liberty, and the development of programs must be carried out in accordance with a unified Procedure. The category of ATO/JFO veterans covered by the “Preparation for Release of War Veterans” program is more clearly defined.
