On Amending the Instruction on the Organization of Accounting, Storage, and Issuance of Small Arms and Ammunition in the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Good afternoon! Now I will explain the main provisions of this order to you.

1. **Essence of the order:** The order of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine amends the Instruction on the organization of accounting, storage and issuance of small arms and ammunition in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The changes concern the procedure for accounting and issuing ammunition during the general military training of citizens of Ukraine for national resistance. In fact, the order stipulates that the existing rules for accounting and issuing ammunition, provided for in paragraphs 5-9 of Section IV of the Instruction, also apply during national resistance training.

2. **Structure and main provisions:** The order consists of three points. The first point amends the Instruction, supplementing Section IV with a new paragraph 14. The second point obliges the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to submit this order for state registration to the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. The third point determines the date of entry into force of the order – from the date of its official publication.

3. **Key provisions for use:** The most important provision is that the accounting and issuance of ammunition during the general military training of citizens for national resistance is carried out according to the same rules as for other needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, namely in accordance with paragraphs 5–9 of Section IV of the Instruction. This means that the existing procedures for accounting and control of ammunition also apply to national resistance training measures.
