On the Establishment of a Temporary Investigative Commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to Investigate Possible Violations of Legislation by Foreign Economic Activity Entities Related to Non-Repatriation of Foreign Currency Proceeds to Ukraine

Resolution Essence:
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine establishes a Temporary Investigative Commission to investigate violations in the field of foreign economic activity, particularly regarding non-repatriation of foreign currency earnings to Ukraine. The commission consists of 14 people’s deputies and will operate for one year.

Structure and Main Provisions:
1. Three key tasks of the commission are defined:
– Investigation of violations in export operations
– Identifying involved persons, including officials
– Assessing state losses and developing legislative amendments

2. Personal composition of the commission is approved:
– Chairman – Marian Zablotskyi (Servant of the People)
– Deputy Chairman – Volodymyr Tsabal (Voice)
– 12 commission members from various factions and groups

Key Provisions for Implementation:
1. The commission has broad powers to investigate currency legislation violations
2. The commission must report to the Verkhovna Rada after 6 months
3. The Verkhovna Rada apparatus ensures all aspects of the commission’s activities
4. Commission representation is proportional – most members from the “Servant of the People” faction, but representatives from all major political forces are included
