This resolution of the Pension Fund of Ukraine introduces technical changes to the procedure for processing pension documents and pension payment procedures. The main changes relate to clarifying formulations and supplementing procedures for suspending pension payments during temporary residence abroad.
Structurally, the resolution consists of 4 points that amend the previous resolution of the PFU No. 3-1 dated 17.01.2025 and the Procedure approved by it. Most changes are editorial in nature – replacing individual words and clarifying formulations.
Key practical changes:
1. Added the possibility of submitting an application to suspend pension payments due to temporary residence abroad
2. Expanded the list of bodies that can provide documents for pension provision – added “relevant unit of the intelligence agency”
3. Clarified the document form for sending for treatment abroad persons from the defense or security forces who were affected as a result of the Russian military aggression
(since the changes relate to military personnel and persons affected by military aggression)
