Paragraph 60 of the Procedure for Conscription of Citizens for Military Service During Mobilization, for a Special Period, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated March 3, 2022, No. 194 (as amended by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated May 16, 2024, No. 560), shall be amended to add a new subparagraph 4 as follows: “4) do not appear at the territorial recruitment center and social support center without valid reasons at the time specified in the summons for sending to a permanent duty station.”.

* The resolution changes only one paragraph (twenty-fifth) in paragraph 60 of the Procedure for conscription.
* The changes relate to the term of granting the deferral (for one year, but not longer than the period of mobilization) and the procedure for its extension.
* To extend the deferral, those liable for military service must submit to the MCC a certificate of the position and salary rate no earlier than one week before the end of the mobilization period.

* Those liable for military service who are entitled to a deferral under subparagraph 2 of paragraph 2 of Annex 5 should pay attention to the need to submit documents in a timely manner to extend the deferral.
