1. Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine – Sanctions (October 4, 2024)
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a Resolution that provides for the application of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) for a period of three years. The sanctions concern individuals and legal entities specified in confidential annexes. State authorities, including the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Security Service, are obliged to ensure the implementation and monitoring of these sanctions.
2. Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine – Redistribution of Budget Expenditures (October 4, 2024)
The Resolution provides for the redistribution of state budget expenditures for the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences, reducing expenditures for the program for the preservation of the natural reserve fund by 12,834.8 thousand hryvnias. These funds will be directed towards the development of scientific activities in the agro-industrial complex. The Ministry of Finance is to make the appropriate changes to the budget.
3. Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine – Competition for the Position of Independent Members of the Supervisory Board of “Sens Bank” (October 4, 2024)
The Resolution designates the company “Executive Search Ukraine” as responsible for conducting the competitive selection of candidates for the positions of independent members of the supervisory board of the joint-stock company “Sens Bank.” The total cost of the company’s services amounts to 3,999,900 hryvnias excluding VAT. The Chairman of the Bank’s Board is authorized to sign the corresponding contract.
4. Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine – Competition for the Position of Director of the Bureau of Economic Security (October 4, 2024)
The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the composition of the commission for conducting the competition for the position of Director of the Bureau of Economic Security. The commission consists of six members, including national experts and international specialists recommended by foreign organizations. This decision underscores the importance of international cooperation in combating corruption.
5. Administrative Case on the Prohibition of the Activities of the Political Party “Our Land” (October 4, 2024)
The Supreme Court of Ukraine has accepted a case for consideration filed by the Ministry of Justice against the Political Party “Our Land” regarding the prohibition of its activities. The court has scheduled the hearing for October 9, 2024, due to a change in the composition of the court.
