This decree of the President of Ukraine concerns the recognition of military personnel with state awards of Ukraine for personal courage in protecting the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
The decree provides for awarding military personnel with various state awards:
1. Distinguished Service Cross – 1 person
2. Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, 1st Class – 2 persons
3. Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, 2nd Class – 12 persons
4. Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, 3rd Class – 30 persons
5. Order of Courage, 1st-3rd Class – over 300 persons
6. Order of Princess Olga, 3rd Class – 4 women military personnel
7. Order of Danylo Halytsky – 13 persons
8. Medal “For Military Service to Ukraine” – 50 persons
9. Medal “For Impeccable Service”, 3rd Class – 1 person
10. Medal “Defender of the Motherland” – 42 persons
11. Medal “For Saving a Life” – 10 persons
Key features of the decree:
– A significant portion of awards are granted posthumously
– Awarded military personnel represent various military ranks – from soldier to colonel
– Medical personnel of military service are specifically recognized
