Amendment to the Regulation on the Procedure for Issuing a Mandate for Military Chaplaincy Activities

Resolution Amends the Procedure for Issuing Mandates to Military Chaplains. The main changes concern the terms and communication procedure between state bodies regarding chaplaincy service. Structurally, amendments are made to three points of the basic Regulation (paragraphs 21, 28, 31) and relate to: the procedure for transferring mandate copies, increasing timeframes for certain procedures, and expanding the range of bodies informed about chaplains’ activities. Key changes:

– A 5-day period is established for sending a mandate copy from the religious center to DESS
– The timeframe for certain procedures after receiving mandates is increased from 3 to 6 months
– The list of bodies to be informed about chaplains’ activities is expanded to include the central executive authority to which they are subordinated
