The law is aimed at restoring the solvency of the State Enterprise ‘Eastern Mining and Processing Plant’ and extending the moratorium on bankruptcy of coal mining enterprises. A prohibition is established on initiating bankruptcy cases and terminating already opened proceedings regarding the SE ‘Eastern Mining and Processing Plant’ until January 1, 2026.
Structurally, the law consists of two sections. The first introduces amendments to three legislative acts: the Bankruptcy Procedures Code of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine ‘On Enforcement Proceedings’, and the Law of Ukraine ‘On Restoring Solvency of State Coal Mining Enterprises’. The second section contains final provisions.
