Regulations define the procedure for maintaining and administering the Agricultural Notes Registry, which is created to record and control operations with agricultural notes in Ukraine. The Central Securities Depository is the holder and administrator of the Registry.
The Structure of the Regulations includes 9 sections that regulate: general provisions, registry maintenance procedure, interaction with other registries, requirements for registry information, requirements for public registrars, electronic cabinets, information access, registry services, and specific regulatory features for certain categories of persons.
Key provisions:
• The Registry will operate in electronic form starting January 1, 2025
• Access is provided through electronic cabinets using electronic signatures
• Interaction with other state registries for information verification is envisaged
• The procedure for creation, circulation, and termination of agricultural notes is defined
• Requirements are established for persons who can be debtors and creditors under agricultural notes
