On taking into account the comments made by the state registration authority regarding Order of the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine dated June 10, 2026, No. 1082

This order of the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine is a technical act aimed at bringing a previous regulatory document into compliance with the requirements of state registration. It adjusts the dates of the status of a specific settlement (the urban-type settlement of Zaliznychne, Sumy Oblast) as a temporarily occupied territory. The amendments are introduced to ensure the accuracy of records concerning territories where hostilities were conducted or which were occupied.

The structure of the order consists of an operative part containing specific amendments to Order No. 1082 of June 10, 2026, and final provisions regarding procedural matters. The primary change consists of correcting the temporal boundaries of the occupation for the settlement of Zaliznychne: the start date is changed from 02/28/2022 to 03/16/2022, and the end date from 03/26/2022 to 03/25/2022. Furthermore, the approval seal of the previous order has been clarified in accordance with the comments of the Ministry of Justice.

The most important aspect of this order is the updating of data in the List of Territories, which is significant for determining the legal status of a settlement. For legal practice, this is critical, as these dates constitute the grounds for the accrual of benefits, compensations, tax preferences, and other social payments provided by legislation for residents of territories affected by hostilities or occupation. The correction of the dates directly impacts the accuracy of the application of legal norms to legal relations that arose during the specified period.
