1. This Decree of the President of Ukraine confers the military rank of Lieutenant General upon Major General Andriy Viktorovych Hnatov, who holds the position of Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In fact, this is a promotion in rank of a specific individual, which is part of the personnel policy in the military sphere.
