**1. Subject of the Law:**
This order of the Security Service of Ukraine establishes the amount of payment for children’s meals in preschool institutions of the SBU for 2026. It defines different percentages of payment depending on the status of the parents (employees of the SBU, pensioners of the SBU, other persons) and the availability of benefits, in particular for large families. The order is aimed at streamlining meal fees and providing social support to certain categories of families.
**2. Structure and Main Provisions:**
* The order consists of 6 points.
* It establishes the amount of payment for meals for different categories of parents:
* 70% of the cost for SBU employees, civil servants, employees under a labor contract with the SBU, and SBU pensioners.
* 100% of the cost for other parents who are not entitled to benefits.
* A reduction in payment is provided for large families:
* 90% discount for parents from paragraph 1 of the order.
* 50% discount for parents from paragraph 2 of the order (unless otherwise provided by law).
* It is indicated that if there are several benefits, the largest of them is applied.
* The order comes into force from the date of its official publication.
**3. Important Provisions for Use:**
* **The amount of payment depends on the status of the parents:** It is important to clearly determine to which category the parents belong (SBU employee, pensioner, other person), as the percentage of payment depends on this.
* **Benefits for large families:** It is necessary to take into account the status of a large family and correctly apply the appropriate discount.
* **Application of the largest benefit:** If the family is entitled to several benefits, the one that provides the largest discount should be applied.
* **Effective date:** The order is effective from the date of its official publication, therefore all calculations of meal fees must be carried out taking this into account.
* This order relates to the military sphere, as it regulates the issue of payment for meals for employees of the Security Service of Ukraine.
