Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1272-r of November 19, 2025, defines the distribution of subvention from the state budget to local budgets for the support of war veterans and demobilized persons. The subvention is intended to ensure the activity of veteran support specialists and to pay monetary compensation for rented housing. The total amount of the subvention to be distributed is 530.494 thousand hryvnias.
The structure of the order includes a main part that defines the distribution of the subvention in accordance with the Budget Code of Ukraine, and an appendix containing specific amounts of distribution for each local budget. The subvention is distributed between regional budgets and the budget of the city of Kyiv.
The most important provision of this order is the specific allocation of funds among different regions of Ukraine, which allows local authorities to plan and make payments of monetary compensation for rented housing for veterans and to provide their support.
