This decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine introduces amendments to the procedure for remuneration of civil servants of tax authorities. The changes concern payments for additional workload in connection with the performance of duties for a vacant position.
The structure of the decree is very simple: it consists of one clause, which introduces changes to a specific paragraph in the CMU decree No. 1346 of December 28, 2020. Instead of a reference to Article 52 of the Law of Ukraine, a specific amount of payment is established.
The main change is that now the payment for additional workload is set at a fixed amount – 50 percent of the salary of the temporarily absent civil servant. This provision is important for accountants and heads of tax authorities, as it determines the specific amount of payment for the performance of the duties of an absent employee.
