Notification of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on Establishing Accounting Prices for Banking Metals
The NBU establishes accounting prices for gold, silver, platinum, and palladium for use in domestic banking operations and financial reporting. These prices are indicative and do not obligate the NBU to buy or sell metals at these prices. The main information includes metal codes, the number of troy ounces, names, and accounting prices in hryvnias.

The NBU fixes the official exchange rates of the hryvnia against foreign currencies and SDRs for accounting and financial reporting purposes. The rates are used for NBU’s operations with the State Treasury Service of Ukraine and in other cases provided by law. The NBU is not obliged to buy or sell валюту at these rates.
