This regulation refines the rules for organic production by updating the lists of authorized products and substances. It amends the annexes of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/1165, introducing a procedure for specific authorizations in the outermost regions of the EU. Key changes include new low-risk active substances in Annex I, clarifications for plant-based products as fertilizers in Annex II, amendments to feed material conditions in Annex III, and a merged list of food additives and processing aids in Annex V. Annex VI includes provisions for third countries. It adapts to scientific advice and practical needs while maintaining organic farming principles.

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/999 of 23 May 2025 granting a Union authorisation for the single biocidal product Hydrocid 306 in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 528/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council
This regulation grants a Union authorization for the biocidal product Hydrocid 306, allowing Hydro-X to market and use it as a preservative within the EU. The product contains CMIT/MIT (3:1) as the active substance. The authorization is valid from 15 June 2025 until 31 October 2034, under specific conditions.
