Dear colleagues, let’s consider the Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine regarding the adoption as a basis of the draft Law of Ukraine on the protection of land rights of owners of real estate that was destroyed as a result of hostilities.
1. **Essence of the Law:** This draft law is aimed at protecting the rights of owners of land plots on which real estate objects were located, which were destroyed as a result of hostilities. It aims to regulate the issue of preserving land rights for such owners, despite the physical absence of real estate.
2. **Structure of the Law:** The resolution provides for the adoption as a basis of the draft Law of Ukraine (reg. No. 13174). The Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy is instructed to finalize the draft law taking into account the proposals and submit it for consideration in the second reading.
3. **Main provisions:** The most important aspect is that the draft law should ensure the preservation of land rights for owners of destroyed real estate. This is important for further reconstruction and compensation for damages.
