On Amendments to the Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated September 30, 2013 No. 838

This order of the Ministry of Health establishes a new system for providing medical care to patients with burn injuries under martial law. The document defines the mechanism for responding to mass burn injury cases and the criteria for providing combustiological (burn) care at various levels of the medical system.

The structure of the order includes:
– Main order with organizational provisions
– Criteria for determining the level of combustiological care
– Procedure for responding to mass burn injury cases
– Changes to provisions on the combustiological care system

Key provisions:
1. A two-level care system has been established with clear criteria for each level
2. Conditions for outpatient treatment and hospitalization have been defined
3. Daily monitoring of available bed spaces for burn patients has been introduced
4. Teams for burn injury assessment have been created at second-level facilities
5. A special procedure for patient transfer between care levels has been established
6. The possibility of sending patients for treatment abroad has been provided

The order is valid during martial law and 30 days after its termination.
