Good day! I will gladly explain to you the main provisions of this document.
1. **Essence of the Law:**
The Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine concerns the adoption as a basis of a draft law that amends the Civil Code of Ukraine. These changes relate to intellectual property rights to objects created by servicemen during military service. In fact, the law determines who will own the intellectual property rights created in the course of performing military duties.
2. **Structure of the Law:**
The resolution consists of two points. The first point envisages the adoption as a basis of the draft Law of Ukraine on Amendments to the Civil Code of Ukraine (Reg. No. 13110). The second paragraph instructs the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Legal Policy to finalize the draft law taking into account the proposals and submit it for consideration in the second reading. At the moment, this is only an adoption as a basis, so specific changes to the code have not yet been approved.
3. **Main Provisions:**
The most important aspect is that the bill regulates intellectual property rights created during military service. This means that clear rules will be established regarding who has the right to use, dispose of and benefit from such intellectual property. This may include inventions, utility models, industrial designs, works of literature and art, computer programs, etc.
