Protocol Essence:
This is an international agreement between Ukraine and China that establishes requirements for the export of wild-caught aquatic products from Ukraine to the People’s Republic of China. The Protocol defines sanitary, quarantine, and inspection requirements for products, certification procedures, and quality control. The document creates a legal framework for the export of Ukrainian fish products to the Chinese market.

– 15 articles regulating all aspects of aquatic product export
– Defines the powers of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection and the Chinese General Administration
– Establishes requirements for facility registration and product labeling
– Regulates certification and control procedures
– Valid for 5 years with automatic extension

1. Only products from registered facilities that meet the requirements of both countries can be exported
2. Each batch must be accompanied by a veterinary certificate in three languages

5. The Chinese side has the right to conduct inspections of Ukrainian facilities, including remote audits
