On Awarding the Honorary Distinction “For Courage and Valor”

This decree establishes the awarding of the 50th Colonel Semen Vysochan National Guard Regiment with the honorary distinction “For Courage and Valor” for merits in protecting the state sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

The structure of the decree is simple – it consists of a preamble defining the purpose of the award and one point in the operative part, which directly establishes the fact of awarding a specific unit.

The key provision is that the distinction is awarded to a military unit as an integral combat entity, not to individual servicemembers. This emphasizes the collective nature of the regiment’s merits in defending Ukraine and the high evaluation of its combat achievements at the state level.

The decree concerns the military sphere and state awards for merits in protecting the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
