On Awarding State Awards of Ukraine

This decree of the President of Ukraine concerns the recognition of military personnel with state awards for personal courage in protecting the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

The structure of the decree includes a list of awardees for various types of state awards:
– Distinguished Service Cross (5 persons)
– Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky I-III degrees (29 persons)
– Order of Courage I-III degrees (77 persons)
– Order of Danylo Halytsky (5 persons)
– Medal “For Military Service to Ukraine” (55 persons)
– Medal “Defender of the Motherland” (41 persons)
– Medal “For Saved Life” (4 persons)

Key features of the decree:
1. A total of 216 military personnel of various ranks – from soldier to colonel have been awarded
2. Among the awardees are female military personnel
3. Most awards are granted for combat merits and courage
