On Awarding State Awards of Ukraine

Essence of the Decree:
This is a decree on awarding military personnel with state awards of Ukraine for personal courage in protecting the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Decree Structure:
1. Awarding the “Cross of Combat Merit” (2 persons)
2. Awarding the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, 1st Class (4 persons)
3. Awarding the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, 2nd Class (7 persons)
4. Awarding the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, 3rd Class (54 persons)
5. Awarding the Order “For Courage”, 2nd Class (21 persons)
6. Awarding the Order “For Courage”, 3rd Class (over 300 persons)
7. Awarding the Order of Danylo Halytsky (9 persons)
8. Awarding the Medal “For Military Service to Ukraine” (65 persons)
9. Awarding the Medal “Defender of the Motherland” (14 persons)
10. Awarding the Medal “For Saved Life” (1 person)

Key Provisions:
– A significant portion of awards are granted posthumously
– Awarded military personnel of various ranks – from soldier to colonel
– Most of the awardees are soldiers and sergeants
– The largest number of awards is the Order “For Courage”, 3rd Class
– The decree recognizes both combat merits and life-saving actions
