The essence of the order is to expand the list of military management bodies whose jurisdiction covers the entire territory of Ukraine. Three new management bodies are added, responsible for space policy, international projects, and technical evaluation.
Structurally, the order consists of three points: the first introduces changes to the existing list, the second defines the registration procedure, and the third establishes the moment of entry into force. The order supplements the previous list from 2016 (as amended in 2020).
Key provisions:
– A Space Policy Management Department in the defense sphere is created, indicating the development of the space direction in the defense sector
– An International Projects Management Department is introduced, which will be responsible for international cooperation
– A Main Directorate for Technical Evaluation, Standardization, and Expert Control is established, which will centralize technical expertise and standardization processes
– All new bodies will have nationwide jurisdiction
These changes indicate an expansion of the military management structure and enhancement of capabilities in new areas of the defense sector.
