By order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 4 new honorary badges of the Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine have been established: “For Courage”, “For Bravery”, “For Valor”, and “For Resilience and Steadfastness”. These distinctions are intended to award military personnel and employees of the NGU for combat merits and demonstrated courage. The order meticulously regulates the procedure for nomination for award, the procedure for presenting badges, and the rules for wearing them. Each badge has its specific criteria for awarding – from brave acts in battle to demonstrated resilience in captivity. Repeated awarding of the same badge is not permitted. Key provisions include:
– Detailed description of the appearance of each badge and their accompanying certificates
– Clear procedure for submitting an award petition through unit commanders
– Rules for placing badges on military uniforms (on the right or left side of the chest)
– Requirement to draw up a presentation protocol in two copies
