On Approval of Criteria for Identifying Institutions of Significant Importance for the National Economy Sector in the Provision of Free Legal Aid

The order establishes criteria for identifying institutions that are crucial in the provision of free legal aid during a special period. The document is adopted within the framework of legislation on mobilization preparation. The order consists of a main part and an appendix with criteria. It replaces the previous order dated March 28, 2023, with a similar title.

According to the document, institutions are considered important if they simultaneously meet three criteria:
– Exercise the powers of the Ministry of Justice in the field of free legal aid
– Ensure public access to legal services
– Have the primary NACE code 84.11 ‘General Public Administration’

To confirm compliance with the criteria, institutions must provide certified copies of founding documents and an extract from the Unified State Register. A decision on determining an institution as important is made subject to compliance with all three criteria.
