Essence of the Act:
This is a joint order of the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Health, which amends the procedure for providing medical assistance to prisoners and convicts. The main changes relate to the introduction of a new disability assessment system through “assessment of a person’s daily functioning” instead of medical and social expertise (MSE), as well as updating procedures for providing medical assistance to tuberculosis patients.
