Decree amends the list of positions that may be filled by military personnel in state bodies, specifically regarding the position of Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine. Structurally, the decree consists of two points: the first defines a new version of the provision on the position of Deputy Minister of Defense, the second establishes the procedure for entry into force.
The key provision of the decree is that for the position of Deputy Minister of Defense, which may be filled during the period of martial law, the maximum military rank is set as ‘Lieutenant General, Vice Admiral’ and the tariff category is ‘4’.
