On Amending Item 4 of the List of Central Executive Bodies and Other State Bodies Responsible for Fulfilling Obligations Arising from Ukraine’s Membership in International Organizations

This resolution amends the list of government authorities responsible for Ukraine’s international cooperation. The main change is the addition of a new point regarding interaction with the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Structurally, the document consists of two parts: the resolution itself and an annex with specific changes. The amendments are made to the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 1371 from 2002, which regulates the participation of state bodies in international organizations.

Key provisions:
1. Three bodies have been identified as responsible for cooperation with the Assembly of States Parties to the Rome Statute of the ICC: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, and the Office of the Prosecutor General (by agreement).
2. The responsibility of the Ministry of Environmental Protection for implementing the Convention on Transboundary Air Pollution has been maintained.
3. The changes reflect Ukraine’s accession to the Rome Statute of the ICC and define the mechanism of interaction with this international institution.

The resolution concerns cooperation with the International Criminal Court, which is important for investigating war crimes.
