Structurally, the law amends 18 legislative acts, including laws on electricity market, natural gas market, alternative energy sources, heat supply, etc. Key provisions of the law:
• Improvement of connection mechanism to electrical networks, including new rules for standard and non-standard connection
• Introduction of power reservation mechanism for wind energy electricity producers
• New requirements for information disclosure by transmission and distribution system operators through geoinformation systems
• Clarification of rules for the “last resort” supplier and specific features of electricity supply to protected consumers
• Regulation of energy storage installation usage by electricity producers
• Specific features of electricity and gas markets functioning under martial law conditions
