The order introduces changes to the list of military management bodies of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, both those with national jurisdiction and those operating at the regional level. Structurally, the order consists of two main blocks of changes: the first concerns bodies with nationwide jurisdiction (exclusion of 7 existing items and addition of a new one – the Main Directorate of Defense Assets), the second concerns bodies with regional jurisdiction (addition of 4 new housing and operational management bodies: Southern, Northern, Western, and Eastern). The key changes involve reorganizing the system of military management bodies by excluding certain existing bodies and creating a new defense assets management structure, as well as forming a regional network of housing and operational management bodies for more effective management of military property at the local level.
