By the Decree, a new professional holiday is established – the Day of Army Aviation of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which will be celebrated annually on July 3rd.
The structure of the Decree is simple and consists of two points: the first establishes the holiday itself and the date of its celebration, the second determines the procedure for the entry into force of the Decree.
The Decree is aimed at recognizing the merits of army aviation servicemen of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in protecting the territorial integrity of Ukraine and forming new military traditions. This is the first official establishment of a professional holiday specifically for the army aviation of the Land Forces.
