On Approval of the List of Junior Officer Positions That May Be Filled During Martial Law by Sergeant and Warrant Officer Personnel (Except Conscripted Military Servicemen) Until the Appointment of Officer Personnel to These Positions

Order of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) approves the list of junior officer positions that can be temporarily occupied by non-commissioned officers and warrant officers (excluding conscripts) during martial law. This is a temporary measure until the appointment of career officers to these positions. The document consists of two main parts: the directive part (the order itself) and an appendix with the list of positions. The list is divided into two parts: positions in the Central SBU Administration and positions in regional bodies, military counterintelligence, and special units. Key provisions:

– Positions that can be filled include operational officers, search officers, and operational staff (up to the rank of captain)

– In regional bodies, additional positions include junior operational officer and senior intelligence officer (up to the rank of senior lieutenant)

– Appointments are possible only for the duration of martial law

– Replacement is temporary – until a career officer is appointed
