On Amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated July 17, 1992 No. 393

Resolution Amending the Procedure for Calculating Service Years and Pension Allocation for Military Personnel and Equivalent Persons

The resolution introduces changes to the procedure for calculating service years and pension allocation for military personnel and equivalent persons. The main changes concern the inclusion of State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) employees in the list of persons entitled to pension provision based on service years, as well as clarifying the procedure for accounting service periods during martial law.

The document is structurally composed of two parts: the resolution itself and the amendments to Resolution No. 393 from 1992. The changes cover issues of service years calculation, accounting of service periods under preferential conditions, and specific pension calculation features for various service categories.

Key Provisions:
• Established preferential service years calculation (1 month counted as 3) for participants in defense measures during martial law
• Determined that service periods in the Russian Federation after 19.02.2014 and in occupation authorities are not counted towards service years
• Regulated pension calculation procedure for SBI employees, taking into account all types of monetary compensation
• Clarified the procedure for accounting educational periods (up to 5 years) when calculating service years
