The order establishes criteria for identifying enterprises, institutions, and organizations that are crucial for the national economy in the field of environmental protection during a special period (mobilization). The document is adopted to replace the previous order dated May 22, 2023.
The following are considered important for the economy:
- Natural and biosphere reserves, national natural parks with an area of 800 hectares or more
- Botanical gardens with an area of 15 hectares or more
- Enterprises conducting scientific and technical activities in the field of ecology
- Scientific institutions conducting research in the field of environmental protection and included in a special state registry
- Institutions engaged in environmental monitoring of the Black and Azov Seas
The key criteria for determining importance are: the area of nature conservation territories, implementation of scientific activities in the field of ecology, conducting environmental monitoring, and inclusion in the state registry of scientific institutions. Such enterprises receive a special status during the mobilization period to ensure their continuous functioning.
