Amendment to Item 110 of the Regulation on Military Service of Citizens of Ukraine in the Armed Forces of Ukraine The procedure for the military service of citizens of Ukraine in the Armed Forces of Ukraine shall be amended as follows: In Item 110 of the Regulation on Military Service of Citizens of Ukraine in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 2 October 2003 No. 1458 (Official Bulletin of Ukraine, 2003, No. 41, p. 2180; 2015, No. 55, p. 1839; 2016, No. 70, p. 2349; 2017, No. 9, p. 265, No. 52, p. 1582; 2018, No. 8, p. 288, No. 11, p. 394; 2019, No. 3, p. 86, No. 52, p. 1683; 2020, No. 4, p. 319, No. 66, p. 2121; 2021, No. 4, p. 251, No. 52, p. 1340; 2022, No. 3, p. 136, No. 12, p. 673): 1. Supplement the first paragraph with the following text: “In case of martial law, the military service of citizens of Ukraine may be extended beyond the established terms of service in the manner prescribed by law.” 2. The second paragraph shall remain unchanged.

Decree Amending the Procedure for Transferring Officer Personnel Between Different Structural Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The main purpose is to clarify the procedure for transferring officers between types, branches of troops, and other military formations. Structurally, the decree contains two points: the first introduces amendments to paragraph 110 of the Regulations on Military Service, the second defines the procedure for entry into force. The changes affect four paragraphs of paragraph 110, which regulate the procedure for officer transfers.

Key changes:
– Added clarification regarding ‘specific branches of troops (forces)’ when transferring officers
– Detailed the procedure for transferring officers between different structural units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
– Established a special procedure for transferring officers up to and including lieutenant colonel during martial law – such transfers are carried out by order of the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
