Legislative Changes Regarding Real Estate Registration

The Parliament has adopted draft law No. 11440 in the first reading, which regulates the mechanism of state registration of property rights in cases where access to BTI (Bureau of Technical Inventory) documents is unavailable.

On the Accounting Price of Banking Metals

This is a daily notification by the National Bank of Ukraine establishing accounting prices for banking metals as of 20.12.2024. The document sets accounting prices for four types of banking metals: gold (XAU) – 109,260.37 UAH, silver (XAG) – 1,229.98 UAH, platinum (XPT) – 38,976.55 UAH, and palladium (XPD) – 38,353.48 UAH per troy ounce.

The key caveat is that the established prices are reference prices and do not create obligations for the NBU to buy or sell banking metals at the specified prices. These prices are used by banks for accounting of banking metal operations and calculation of standards.

On the Official Exchange Rate of Hryvnia to Foreign Currencies
