1. Nougat de Montélimar Registration

Registers ‘Nougat de Montélimar’ as a Protected Geographical Indication with a 5-year transition period allowing one company (Bargues Agro-Industrie) to continue using specific related product names like ‘Pâte de nougat Montélimar’.

2. Agricultural Statistics Framework

Establishes comprehensive requirements for EU-wide farm data collection in 2026, covering farm structure, land use, livestock, labor force, rural development, and environmental practices through three detailed annexes defining variables and collection methods.

3. Crypto-assets Supervision

Sets procedures for cooperation between crypto-asset market supervisors, including standard forms for information exchange, deadlines (5 days for regular requests, 10 days for urgent ones), and rules for joint investigations. Authorities must designate contact points by January 15, 2025.

4. Mediterranean Fishing Rules

Introduces minimum size requirements for Mediterranean shrimp (25mm carapace length) and dolphinfish (35cm total length), with a 5% tolerance for undersized catches. Applies until December 2026.

5. Bluefin Tuna Management

Updates rules for bluefin tuna farming and release operations, requiring releases within 3 months of caging, mandatory video recording, and specific distance requirements (10 miles, reducible to 5 miles for smaller quantities).

6. Child Protection Reporting

Creates standardized form for online communication services to report personal data processing in fighting child sexual abuse, covering data types, detection technologies, error rates, and data sharing practices.

7. Living Conditions Statistics

Specifies technical requirements for collecting EU-wide data on household over-indebtedness, consumption patterns, and wealth, including detailed variables for loans, consumption habits, and property values.

8. Picked Dogfish Fishing

Prohibits catching dogfish above 100cm in length in EU waters, requiring immediate release of accidentally caught specimens exceeding this size. Valid until December 2024.

9. Syria Sanctions Update

Adds three Syrian government ministers to EU sanctions list and updates information about one previously listed person, expanding restrictive measures against Syrian regime officials.
