By the Decree of the President of Ukraine, an honorary name has been awarded to the 128th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From now on, the full name of the unit is the 128th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade “Dyke Pole” of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Structurally, the decree consists of two points: the first establishes the new name, the second determines the procedure for entry into force. The decree is an independent act that does not amend other documents.
The key provision of the decree is the awarding of the honorary name “Dyke Pole” to the military unit for exemplary performance of combat tasks during the protection of territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine. This decision is aimed at restoring the historical traditions of the national army.
