Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs establishes rules for handling firearms for civilians participating in repelling the Russian armed aggression. The document defines the procedure for carrying, storing, and transporting weapons and ammunition by Ukrainian citizens, foreigners, and stateless persons.
The rules consist of 16 points and cover: owners’ responsibilities, weapon carrying procedures, safety rules for weapon handling, storage and transportation requirements, prohibitions, and restrictions. The document is new and adopted to implement changes to the Law of Ukraine “On Ensuring Civilian Participation in the Defense of Ukraine”.
