On Amendments to the Instruction on Compiling and Applying Schedules for Limiting and Emergency Disconnection of Consumers, as well as Emergency Reduction Systems for Electricity Consumption

Order Amending the Instruction on Compiling and Applying Electricity Consumption Limitation and Emergency Disconnection Schedules during Martial Law. The document is aimed at preserving the integrity of Ukraine’s energy system under critical infrastructure damage caused by Russian aggression.

Structurally, the order consists of the main part and approved amendments to the Instruction. Amendments are made to three sections: regarding consumer limitation schedules, control over limitation implementation, and state energy supervision.

Key provisions:

1. During martial law and 12 months after its termination, all industrial consumers and other consumer groups with connected capacity from 300 kW (previously 500 kW) will be involved in power limitation schedules

2. In case of failure to comply with dispatcher commands regarding electricity consumption reduction, emergency disconnection schedules will be applied to the consumer

3. The powers of State Energy Supervision have been expanded concerning monitoring the correctness of limitation and disconnection schedule application
