Resolution concerns the adoption of a draft law as a basis, which introduces amendments to legislative acts of Ukraine to bring them in line with the decision of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine regarding the execution of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights. Structurally, the resolution consists of two points: the first is about adopting draft law No. 11508 as a basis, the second is to instruct the relevant committee to finalize the draft law for the second reading, taking into account proposals and amendments.
The key point is that the draft law is aimed at guaranteeing the protection of individual rights and freedoms in accordance with ECHR decisions, which is an important element of the human rights protection system in Ukraine and fulfillment of the state’s international obligations.
