The law introduces amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine, primarily concerning compensation for internally displaced persons for damaged/destroyed real estate as a result of Russian aggression. Changes are also made regarding bankruptcy procedures and investment projects.
Structurally, the law consists of two sections: the first contains amendments to 5 legislative acts, and the second contains final provisions. The main changes concern the Bankruptcy Procedure Code, laws on property valuation, state support for investment projects, and compensation for damaged property.
Key innovations:

• A new threshold for significant investments is established at 12 million euros
• The validity of appraisers’ qualification certificates is extended until January 1, 2026
• Terminology regarding bankruptcy procedures is modified – the concept of ‘preventive restructuring’ is introduced
